Are you ready to take on an exciting new challenge as part of a dynamic Therapy Services support team?

Consider joining us as a Therapy Assistant Practitioner within Outpatient services and help us to deliver a high quality service to our patients.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside registered clinicians as part of a dedicated support team and be able to take an active role in the rehabilitation of patients.

The role will include supporting physiotherapists with the delivery of treatment for a wide range of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic post-operative patients. The successful candidate will lead rehabilitation classes and manage their own caseload, providing treatment to patients. The role has recently been extended to include an opportunity to work within the new hand therapy service assisting in clinics and with splinting and rehabilitation.

The role will mostly be based at our state of the art College Green facilities. These were purpose built in 2023 and provide the latest in rehabilitation environment and equipment.

Alongside your clinical caseload you will expected to take on non-clinical duties as required.

Following all appropriate training you will be responsible for managing your own caseload, providing treatment to patients with a variety of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions, as delegated by a registered therapist. You will assess patient progress and modify treatment programmes as necessary. The role will also involve leading rehabilitation classes.
