Isabella's Homes Limited is seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to support and oversee our Supported Living services across the West Midlands.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader who is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support to adults with complex mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours of concern.

The successful candidate will work across multiple sites, supporting operational excellence, staff development, compliance, and positive outcomes for the individuals we support.

About the Role

The Service Manager will play a key leadership role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of supported living services across multiple locations. You will support teams to deliver safe, effective, and recovery-focused care while maintaining compliance with CQC standards and organisational policies.

You will be responsible for promoting independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion for people with complex support needs.

Key Responsibilities
Support the operational management of multiple supported living services across the West Midlands
Lead, supervise, and motivate Team Leaders and Support Workers
Ensure high standards of person-centred care and support are consistently delivered
Monitor compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding procedures, and company policies
Conduct audits, spot checks, supervisions, and service reviews
Support care planning, risk assessments, and positive behaviour support strategies
Assist with incident management, investigations, and safeguarding concerns
Maintain staffing levels, rota management, and recruitment support
Promote a positive culture focused on recovery, independence, and outcomes
Build effective relationships with families, professionals, commissioners, and external agencies
Support service development and continuous quality improvement

Essential Experience & Skills
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a senior role within Supported Living, Residential Care, or Adult Social Care
Experience supporting adults with:
Complex Mental Health
Learning Disabilities
Autism
Behaviours that challenge
Strong understanding of:
CQC regulations
Safeguarding
Medication management
Risk management
Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
Experience leading teams across multiple services or dispersed sites
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle or willingness to commute

Qualifications

Essential:

Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

Desirable:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care or working towards
PBS, Autism, or Mental Health specialist training
Medication administration competency
Train the Trainer qualifications
