We are looking for an experienced, values-driven Registered Manager to oversee and develop multiple supported living services across the West Midlands, supporting adults with complex mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours of concern.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident operational leader who can combine compassionate care with strong compliance oversight, team leadership, and service development.
About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will:
Lead and oversee multiple supported living services across the West Midlands
Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and quality standards
Drive excellent outcomes for individuals with complex mental health and learning disability needs
Support, mentor, and develop Team Leaders and Support Staff
Manage safeguarding, risk management, audits, and quality assurance processes
Work closely with commissioners, social workers, families, and multidisciplinary professionals
Support occupancy growth, service development, and continuous improvement initiatives
Promote a culture of recovery, independence, dignity, and positive outcomes
What We’re Looking For
Essential Experience
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or Service Manager within Supported Living or Adult Social Care
Strong background supporting individuals with:
Complex Mental Health
Learning Disabilities
Autism
Behaviours that challenge
Experience managing multiple services or dispersed supported living settings
Proven knowledge of:
CQC regulations
Safeguarding
Care planning
Medication management
Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
Risk management and compliance
Experience leading large staff teams and managing rotas, performance, and development
Full UK driving licence and/or a willingness to travel across services
Qualifications Required
Applicants must hold or be working towards:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young People’s Services (Adult Residential Management)
or equivalent recognised management qualification
Desirable:
Registered with CQC as a Registered Manager
PMVA/MAPA training
Mental Health or Autism specialist training
Train the Trainer qualifications
