A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a thriving, recently refurbished small animal veterinary practice in Taunton, Somerset. This role is ideal for a Vet seeking to work within a high-performing veterinary team led by an experienced Partner who is deeply committed to clinical excellence, mentoring, and professional development.

The Practice
This modern, recently refurbished veterinary practice offers a diverse and stimulating caseload, supported by excellent facilities and a collaborative clinical environment.
The successful Veterinary Surgeon will benefit from access to advanced tools and equipment to deliver gold-standard patient care, including:
• A brand-new laparoscopic spay suite
• State-of-the-art 4-probe ultrasound
• Dedicated Cat and Dog wards
• Support from visiting peripatetic specialists
• A varied medical and surgical caseload
The practice is led by an experienced Partner currently working toward a third certificate, fostering a culture that actively supports progression and continuous learning.
The wider team includes:
• 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs)
• An anaesthetics certificate holder
• A medicine certificate candidate
• A dedicated 3-person administration team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and allowing clinicians to focus on patient care
The Role
