Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for contracts and project management?
North Kesteven District Council is seeking a Contracts Officer to join our Property Services team. As a Contracts Officer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Housing and Property services functions.
Job Requirements:
• HNC, or equivalent/transferable experience, in a building/maintenance discipline
• Ability to communicate clearly through multiple channels
• Effective planning and project management skills to work to deadlines
• Understanding and applicable of relevant legislation, polices and procedures
Key Responsibilities:
• Performance management and contract administration and compliance
• Ensuring financial management within contract and budget limitations
• Communication and liaison with a range of contractors
• Ensuring communication with our tenants and customer service is effective
Key Attributes:
• Able to demonstrate our values through own performance and service delivery
• Experience or transferable skills to manage and deliver contracts
• Excellent attention to detail with good numerical skills
• Competent in dealing with building maintenance works
Personal Attributes:
• Creative thinker with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills (both visual and verbal).
• Highly organized and dynamic.
• Conscientious and confident.
You will be required to apply a high level of detail and be conscientious when carrying out this role.
