Responsibilities
Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily kitchen activities to ensure smooth operations.
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications and food safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage food costs effectively.
Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully and meet the quality standards before serving.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and professional growth among staff.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Passion for cooking with a creative flair for developing new recipes and menu items.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy kitchen setting.
A culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred but not essential if experience is substantial.
