The Opportunity

Are you passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of children with complex learning needs? We are seeking dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistants to join a vibrant primary special school community in Worthing.

The school supports 222 incredible pupils aged 4-11, all of whom have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP). We pride ourselves on a highly personalised approach, ensuring every child-regardless of their starting point-is challenged, motivated, and equipped for the future.

The Role

As an SEN TA, you won't just be "supporting a classroom"-you will be a vital part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will work alongside teachers, Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Occupational Therapists to help pupils overcome barriers across four key areas:

  • Cognition and Learning

  • Communication and Interaction

  • Sensory and Physical Development

Why Join Us?

You will have access to world-class facilities designed to stimulate and support our pupils, including:

  • Hydrotherapy Pool & Rebound Therapy

  • Forest School & Climbing Wall

  • Sensory, Dark, and Immersive Rooms

  • Soft Play areas

About You

We are looking for individuals who put children at the heart of everything they do. You should be:

  • Empathetic and Patient: Understanding that progress for our pupils can be measured in small, yet monumental, steps.

  • Adaptive: Ready to support pupils in diverse settings, from the classroom to the Forest School.

  • Collaborative: Able to work effectively within a skilled team of specialists and educators.

  • Passionate: Driven to celebrate every achievement, no matter how small.
