This is a dedicated full-time opportunity for a professional who is passionate about removing barriers to learning and providing high-quality support to students with complex needs.

If you are looking for a stable, term-time position where you can build deep, meaningful connections with your students and see their progress firsthand, this role in the Worthing area is for you.

The Opportunity
  • Location: Specialist provisions and mainstream schools across Worthing.

  • Daily Rate: £90.00 - £95.00 (Competitive weekly pay).

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday (Term Time Only).

  • Impact: Support students with Autism (ASD), ADHD, and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs to achieve their unique academic and social milestones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bespoke 1:1 Support: Provide a consistent and safe foundation for specific students, helping them navigate the school day.

  • EHCP Implementation: Work directly with Education, Health and Care Plans to deliver personalized learning goals.

  • Emotional Regulation: Use specialist de-escalation and behavioral techniques to help students manage their emotions and stay focused.

  • Promoting Autonomy: Assist with social skills and personal care, always prioritizing the student's dignity and independence.

  • Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work alongside SENCOs, therapists, and teachers to ensure a "whole-child" approach to support.

What We Are Looking For
  • Experience: Proven history supporting learners with SEN (ASD, ADHD, or SEMH) is essential.

  • Stability: Someone looking for a long-term home within a school community.

  • Temperament: A calm, "unflappable" nature with the ability to act as a mentor during challenging moments.

  • Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 TA qualification is preferred, but substantial relevant experience is highly valued.

Why Join Our Worthing Team?
  • Steady Income: Reliable daily rates with no umbrella company deductions.

  • Career Growth: Access to specialized SEN training and professional development.

  • Consistency: A predictable Monday-to-Friday routine that respects your work-life balance.

  • Meaningful Work: The chance to be a key figure in a child's developmental success story.
