Cover Supervisor - Stockport (Secondary School)

Are you a Cover Supervisor available for immediate work within secondary schools? OR are you a University Graduate looking for work experience before starting your PGCE? If yes, we have the role for you!

Cover People are looking for confident candidates with strong interpersonal skills and the flexibility needed to be a successful cover supervisor.

Position: Cover Supervisor

Location: Stockport

Employment Type: Full Time/Part Time, Mon to Fri 8:30AM to 3:30PM

Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Supervising classes during teacher absences
- Ensuring students are completing the work set by SLT/class teachers
- Managing behaviour within the classroom - creating a constructive learning environment
- Supporting the school's high expectations and commitment to individual student progress
- Providing support to students where necessary, including those with SEND needs

Requirements:
- A degree or relevant experience
- A passion for education and working with young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A belief that every student, regardless of background, can achieve their potential
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one through Cover People UK
