Summary
CERTIFIED TRANSLATION SOLUTIONS™ is looking for experienced Kurdish language professionals to join our freelance team for transcription, translation, and editing projects.
Responsibilities:
Provide accurate transcription services in Kurdish and/or English.
Translate and edit documents between Kurdish and English.
Review and proofread translated content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and cultural appropriateness.
Ensure consistency in terminology and style across projects.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with our Code of Conduct.
Deliver high-quality work within agreed deadlines.
Communicate professionally and effectively with project coordinators.
Demonstrate strong cultural understanding of both Kurdish- and English-speaking audiences.
Requirements:
Native or near-native proficiency in both Kurdish and English.
Previous experience in transcription, translation, or editing.
Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
Strong commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy.
Ability to manage freelance assignments and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of one year of professional experience in transcription, translation, or editing.
Qualifications related to translation, linguistics, transcription, or language services.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Interpretation, or a related field.
A PhD or Doctorate in Linguistics or related discipline.
Certificate of Higher Education or equivalent language certification.
