Are you a skilled Fabricator Welder looking for a permanent role where no two jobs are the same?

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected precision engineering and fabrication company supplying complex, high-quality components into the defence, nuclear, rail, renewable energy and specialist manufacturing sectors.

Working from a modern, well-equipped manufacturing facility, this business continues to grow through repeat customer demand and investment in advanced fabrication technology. Due to increased workload, they are now looking to add an experienced MIG/TIG Fabricator Welder to their team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and forward-thinking engineering business offering long-term security, varied fabrication work, overtime opportunities and genuine development potential.

The Role

You will be involved in a wide variety of fabrication and welding projects, producing both prototype and production components to extremely high standards.

Duties will include:

• MIG welding on a range of materials
• Fabricating from engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Small batch and bespoke fabrication work — not repetitive production welding
• Working to tight tolerances and strict quality standards
• Measuring and inspecting components using calipers, micrometers and inspection equipment
• Using overhead cranes and lifting equipment safely during fabrication and assembly
• Maintaining high housekeeping and safety standards within the workshop

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience within fabrication and welding environments
• Strong MIG welding ability
• Ability to confidently read and work from engineering drawings
• Experience using hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment
• Good mechanical understanding and attention to detail
• Forklift or material handling experience beneficial (training can be provided)
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and team mentality

Due to project requirements within the defence sector, this position is open to British Nationals only.

Why Join This Company?

• Excellent variety of work across multiple engineering sectors
• Modern manufacturing facility with dedicated welding bays and lifting support
• Stable and growing business with continued investment
• Early finish every Friday for improved work-life balance
• Overtime available as workload increases
• Long-term permanent opportunity with progression potential
• Supportive and flexible management team
• Clean, organised and professional workshop environment
