We’re excited to offer an incredible opportunity for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our dedicated and professional Engineering
team in Barnsley!

Role Details:

Working Hours: 4 on, 4 off: 2 x Days 6am-6pm, 2 Days Nights 6pm - 6am, 4 off

Role Type: Permanent, Full Time Role

Location: Barnsley

Salary: Up to £50,000







Your Duties Will Include:

* Respond promptly to breakdowns and complete repairs efficiently to minimise downtime and meet production targets.
* Identify and implement improvements to reduce waste, optimise labour, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks to required standards and maintain accurate CMMS records for
traceability.
* Carry out plant and infrastructure repairs in line with GMP, H&S, PUWER, and HASAW regulations.
* Ensure all stock and spare parts are correctly booked out and report shortages or discrepancies.
* Maintain safe working practices, correct PPE use, and ensure equipment defects are reported promptly.
* Support QA and compliance by following QMS procedures and maintaining high engineering standards.
* Maintain organised workspaces, tools, and inventory, ensuring tasks are completed with full aftermath control.
* Provide technical support, logical problem-solving, and guidance to operational teams and contractors.
* Assist with training and development of operators and maintenance colleagues by sharing knowledge and skills.
* Promote teamwork, communicate concerns appropriately, and contribute positively to operational reviews and business
performance.




About You:

* Analysis and fault-finding Mechanical/ Electrical breakdowns.
* Performing PPMs and repairs methodically and efficiently to the highest engineering standards.
* Ensure all respective corrective actions are carried out and recorded on CMM System
* Ability to demonstrate high attention to detail with good analytical and reporting skills.
* Always demonstrate a first-class work ethic.
* To build and develop first class relationships with all site functions.
