Summary

Hazel Tree Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a secondary school in Liverpool for one full term from September until Christmas.

This is a full-time role supporting students within the classroom and providing additional support where needed. The school is looking for someone who is reliable, flexible, patient, and eager to make a positive difference within education.

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support students both academically and emotionally, helping to maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting students within lessons and around school
Providing targeted support to students when required
Assisting with behaviour management and engagement
Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
Encouraging confidence, participation, and positive behaviour

Requirements:

Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
Strong communication skills and a calm approach
Flexible and proactive attitude
Commitment to supporting young people in education
