Summary
Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League is looking for enthusiastic Family Area Team Members to help create unforgettable match day experiences at the bet365 Stadium.
Reporting to the Fundraising and Events Manager, as a Family Area Team Member, you will be right at the heart of the action. You will be the friendly face who welcomes, supports and engages with families across our family areas and other parts of the stadium when required.
This is a lively, people focused role where team members will be required to engage with young people and families, actively deliver a range of activities and encourage supporter participation and engagement.
The successful candidates will display a friendly and confident personality, have excellent communication skills and will make themselves visible and approachable on a match day.
Main Responsibilities
• Meeting, greeting and interacting with families.
• Leading and delivering fun and engaging activities.
• Encouraging participation and helping build an exciting and inclusive match day atmosphere.
• Assisting with the setup and breakdown of family area activities and events.
• Providing information and supporting families regarding match day services and facilities.
• Monitoring the family area to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees.
• Collaborating with other team members and departments to enhance the overall match day experience.
Key Skills and Experience
• Excellent communication skills.
• Confident, friendly and approachable personality.
• Previous experience within a similar role would be advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and demands.
• A passion and commitment in providing excellent customer service.
Positions will be offered on a casual and intermittent basis. All relevant training will be provided. The ideal candidate will be available to work evenings and weekends to cover match day fixtures and other ad hoc events at the bet365 Stadium.
