Summary

SEN Teaching Assistant Level 3 - DSP/Speech and Language UnitBarley Croft Primary School is looking to appoint a committed, talented and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join our successful and friendly team.
We are looking to appoint a talented SEND specialist to work primarily in our dedicated DSP/Speech & Language unit and across the school.

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who:
Demonstrates excellent classroom practice
Ideally has experience of working with SEND children
Knowledge of specific programme such as Makaton, Cued Articulation, therapy plans etc is desirable
Elklan training is desirable
Has a flexible approach and ability to work as part of a team
Is willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life
Has the ability to think on their feet and use their initiative
Is motivated , passionate and reflective about their work
Has a commitment to professional development and the skills to engage positively with practitioners, parents/carers and families
This is a permanent role for appointment into the DSP (Dedicated Specialist Provision) in the first instance. Working hours 8:15am - 3:45pm subject to change. Visits to the school are very much welcomed and encouraged.Interviews date to be confirmed.
