This national change is vital to ensuring our customers continue receiving safe, reliable support at home and in their communities. We’re now looking for an Administration Assistant (internally known as a Digital Transition Assistant) to join our Progress Lifeline team on a fixed-term basis. If you’re organised, proactive, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment, we’d love to hear from you. About the role You’ll play a key role in helping deliver Progress Lifeline’s digital transition, supporting the team to keep the programme running smoothly day to day. Working 36.25 hours per week on a 6-month fixed-term contract, you’ll be based at our Leyland office. This is a varied role where you’ll coordinate appointments between customers and field installers, organise visits across geographical areas, and support the team to meet daily and weekly targets. You’ll also support stock processes - helping monitor and replenish equipment, process returned items, and ensure records and databases are kept up to date and accurate. A big part of the role is communication. You’ll speak with customers, families, and colleagues over the phone, keeping everyone informed and ensuring a smooth and well-organised service. Confidentiality and accuracy are essential throughout..What We Are Looking For To be successful in this role, you should have: Essential: Basic IT skills (Word, databases, and general systems) Confidence arranging and scheduling appointments across different areas Strong attention to detail when updating systems and records Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload Desirable Experience working with older or vulnerable people Why Progress?
