About the Role
We are seeking multiple reliable and skilled Installation Technicians to support installations for a growing composites business based in Colchester. The role involves working on client sites across the UK, installing high-quality composite products to company standards while delivering excellent customer service.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced fitters, installers, construction operatives, or specialist subcontractors looking for consistent project-based work.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out installation of composite products and systems at client locations
Read and interpret technical drawings, installation plans, and specifications
Ensure all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
Conduct site preparation and final quality checks
Communicate professionally with clients and site contacts
Report progress, issues, and completion updates to the operations team
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe working condition
Follow all health & safety regulations and company procedures
Travel to sites across the UK as required
Requirements
Previous experience in installation, construction, fit-out, composites, cladding, or related trades
Strong practical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
CSCS card preferred
Full UK driving licence
Own tools and transport preferred
Good communication and customer-facing skills
Flexibility to travel and occasionally stay away overnight
Desirable Experience
Experience working with composite materials
IPAF, PASMA, or similar certifications
Experience working on commercial or industrial projects
Understanding of technical drawings and site measurements
