Duties as a Business Development Manager:
- Generate new business by prospecting and engaging with potential B2B clients
- Manage and develop relationships with existing and new customers within the Preston area
- Conduct outbound sales calls, face-to-face meetings, and follow-ups to achieve sales targets
- Promote and sell new and fleet vehicles, tailoring proposals to customer needs
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and vehicle sales procedures
- Stay updated on vehicle specifications and industry developments to enhance customer proposals
- Act as a brand ambassador to uphold dealership reputation and values
- Meet and beat set KPIs and sales objectives consistently
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar B2B vehicle sales role
- Strong understanding of fleet and vehicle sales processes
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proactive, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently and within a team
- Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple leads and accounts effectively
- Valid driving licence is essential
- A positive attitude and a passion for automotive sales and customer service
