Role Overview
We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive growth, expand our client base, and maximise revenue opportunities across retail and foodservice markets. This is a role with responsibility for developing and executing sales strategies, building key relationships, and achieving business growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities across retail, wholesale, and foodservice sectors.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
* Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients while ensuring profitability.
* Prospect and secure new accounts, including supermarkets, independent retailers, and catering businesses.
* Prepare reports, presentations, and proposals for senior management to support strategic decisions.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including production, marketing, and logistics, to ensure the successful delivery of client requirements.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a business development, operations, or administrative management role.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative.
