Summary

Job Advert
Are you passionate about helping others live fulfilling and independent lives? We are looking for caring, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our team of Support Workers in March, supporting adults with learning disabilities.

This is an opportunity to build meaningful relationships and have a lasting impact on people’s lives. In this role, you will provide person-centred support tailored to each individual’s needs, helping them maintain independence while feeling safe, valued, and empowered.

Your day-to-day work will include supporting individuals with everyday tasks around the home such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and managing post and bills. You will offer emotional support, encourage confidence, and help individuals maintain strong connections by visiting family and friends and building positive relationships. You will also play an important role in supporting people to access their communities, whether that’s attending day centres, enjoying activities outside the service, going for walks, a day visiting garden centres for tea and cake, attending appointments, or enjoying meals out.

Consistency and routine are key, so you will help individuals stick to weekly activities such as shopping and scheduled appointments, while also encouraging new experiences and opportunities for personal growth.

We are currently looking for mostly part-time contracts, although full-time opportunities may also be available. Flexibility is essential, as shifts vary depending on the service and can fall between 7am and 10pm, across seven days a week on a rota basis. Night shifts may also be required as part of the role.

If you are compassionate, patient, and committed to making a difference, we would love to hear from you. Join us and be part of a team that truly changes lives.
