Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an experienced teacher who has consistently high expectations with proven leadership and management experience, to lead our 10 place Resource Provision for ASC and Social Communication Difficulties. Candidates must have the gift of inspiring children in their learning and should be innovative and creative, with the skills to plan, deliver, evaluate and asses a rich and varied curriculum which allows every child to fulfil their potential. We are seeking a teacher who is able to demonstrate a clear understanding of SEND, specifically ASC, with the drive to maintain exemplary standards and progress. Completion of the National Award for SEN coordination would be desirable. Candidates must be committed to contribute to the wider life of the school, with a willingness to lead a curriculum area across the school. The welfare and wellbeing of all staff is of great concern and in addition to taking care of each other in school, the Academy Trust can assist Staff who may be experiencing difficulties by signposting training or workshops or referring staff to Occupational Health for assessment. Line managers can offer support to staff.

The school prioritises safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children. The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure and will follow a stringent vetting and induction process.
