Are you a passionate and experienced practitioner with a proven track record of success? Sir Geoffrey Leigh Academy has an exciting opportunity for an engaging and enthusiastic Coordinator of Learning - Performing Arts to join their thriving department from September 2026. Our successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in leading the Performing Arts department and ensuring high standards of teaching and learning. If you are an experienced Performing Arts practitioner ready for a role with further responsibilities, we want to hear from you!

What the school offers its staff
This is a chance to join an enthusiastic team of Performing Arts specialists who are dedicated, driven and highly creative. The team are generous with their time and very much enjoy sharing resources and expertise; a real team ethos has been created in the Performing Arts department. We are very keen to develop the Performing Arts department even further and seek an all-rounded individual who can lead the department, specifically in Drama and Music following the MYP curriculum at KS3. Our successful candidate will need a real ambition to deliver GCSE Drama and Music in 2025 and beyond as we grow and develop our department.
Our successful candidate will receive:

• Opportunity to work laterally across a number of Leigh Academies Trust schools to benchmark best practice and to be involved in teaching and learning innovation.
This is a full-time, permanent role offering MPS/UPS based onexperience + London Fringe allowance + TLR.
