Role: Design and Technology Technician

Academy: Outwood Academy Easingwold

Start Date: 07/09/2026

Salary (Actual Salary): £10,681 - £10,850

Working Pattern: 18 Hours Per Week, 3 days, Term Time only + 3 days

Do you have specialised technical skills in Design and Technology and a commitment to ensuring students have safe, fully operational resources for their practical learning? Are you adept at maintaining complex workshop equipment and ensuring the highest standards of safety and organisation? This role is dedicated to supporting teaching and learning in the Technology Department on a day-to-day basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong practical skills to coordinate practical resources and equipment to support the teaching of Design & Technology subjects from Key stage 3 to 5.The role will involve providing technical support, ensuring and maintaining a safe working environment and that the workshops are equipped, functioning properly and ready to use.Applicants need to have a technical background and experience of multi-tasking, problem solving and implementing and monitoring Health and Safety checks. We welcome interested candidates to tour the department and meet the team before applying.
