We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker specializing in Children & Families to join our team on a hybrid basis. This role is aligned with the Department for Education's standards and requires a qualified professional with a strong background in social care. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting vulnerable children and families, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's and families' needs to inform intervention plans.
Develop and implement care plans focused on safeguarding and promoting well-being.
Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams including education, health, and legal services.
Provide direct support and advocacy for children and families experiencing difficulties.
Monitor and review cases regularly to ensure effective outcomes and compliance with legal standards.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and documentation in line with agency policies.
Participate in case conferences, court proceedings, and other professional meetings as required.
Promote and uphold children's rights and welfare in all aspects of practice.
Engage in continuous professional development and training to stay current with best practices.
Requirements
Qualified Social Worker status with registration to practice within social care.
Proven experience working with children and families in a social work capacity.
Deep understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and safeguarding procedures.
Strong assessment, planning, and case management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Flexibility to work in a hybrid model including both office and field-based settings.
Demonstrated commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in practice.
Reliable organizational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality.
Hours Per Week: 35.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
