Summary
Desian Education are proud to be working in partnership with an inclusive mainstream primary school in Winsford that is overall Ofsted “Good” as they are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join their team on a long-term temporary basis.
Within this role you will be working in collaboration with the reception and year 1 class teachers, promoting the engagement and learning of all pupils by breaking down barriers, building strong constructive relationships and implementing an array of positive behaviour strategies.
Your new role:
- 1:1 and small group interventions
- Small group reading comprehension
- Positive behaviour support
- 1:1 phonics support using RWI
What you need to succeed:
- Full “Right to Work” in the UK
- Good knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 national curriculums
- Relevant referenceable classroom experience
- An NVQ Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification is advantageous but not essential
- An Enhanced Children’s DBS certificate or willingness to obtain
