Summary
Equans is looking for a Project Interface Manager to join our team at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. The post holder will lead contract based works projects, focusing on lifecycle works, delivering project solutions to budget, effectively utilising in-house resource (white and blue collar) and sub-contract arrangements as appropriate. Supporting the operations team to ensure smooth delivery. Working as part of the Broomfield management team to build on reputation, capability and delivering efficiently to ensure the projects team maintains a strong project pipeline and develop new leads and clients. What will you deliver?Take profit and loss responsibility for those projects allocated to you. To own each project and delivery with a high degree of attention to specification, design, construction and financial detailFrom resources available, draw together and manage teams to deliver owned projects. These may be from a combination of in-house and out-sourced resourcesTo be accountable for the service delivery in accordance with business systems, such as quality assurance, environmental management system, financial systems, administration and policiesTake responsibility for the delivery of lifecycle plant replacement in accordance with the long term plan. Ensuring that plant availability is maintained through outTo oversee the small works process, ensuring works are completed to HTM & HBN requirements and the room data records are updatedTo Manage the development of detailed Work Method Statements, Risk and COSHH and CDM assessments for all work activity undertaken by in-house and contracted staff ensuring complete compliance. Maintain high and statutory compliant health and safety standards on site at all timesTo manage, monitor and co-ordinate the on site activities of all sub-contractors with regard to programme and ensuring that CDM requirements, Method Statements, Risk and COSHH Assessments and Permits to Work are in place prior to work commencingIn accordance with contract forms, manage projects within the specified terms. Ensure risk is appropriately considered for sub-contract transfer or reviewed in conjunction with procurement / legal departments to agree risk shareUpdate site asset registers, insurance registers, service contract requirements and PPM schedules associated with all completed projects in conjunction with the Maintenance ManagersTo ensure that all contracting companies plant and equipment is maintained in a safe condition and is ready for use at all timesTo ensure staff and contractors maintain the highest standards of health and safety, professionalism and customer service at all timesTo undertake Authorised Person’s roles, support Operations as required and participate in out of hours operational management team as part of Contract business continuity planWhat can we offer you? Excellent, strong team leader with experience of constructing and integrating teams ensuring they work efficiently. Strong and effective communicatorTechnically competent in a variety fields of project management delivery environment Able to successfully deliver projects from inception to completion – end to end with a hands-on approach and use appropriate IT systems in the management of all projectsExperience of managing plant replacement in a healthcare or large commercial environment. Working to minimise downtime to ensure minimal disruptionQuality driven in terms of the project finished article, communication – written and oral and in terms of processes and procedureDirect line/Sub-Contractor management experience for multiple technical /trade staff, experienced in dealing with re-engineering and accomplished in management of administrative performance issues such as sickness and absenceThis role includes a DBS Standard check therefore ability to pass is essential Who are we?
