Summary
Electrician - Social Housing (Permanent)
Location: Peterborough - Leicester Patch
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our clients social housing team, covering a regional patch between Peterborough and Leicester. This role is ideal for someone based within the area, as travel across the patch is required (approximately 1.5 hours end-to-end).
The RoleAs an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations within social housing properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Salary & Benefits- £39,000 - £40,000 basic salary
- 5% annual bonus (paid pro rata each March)
- Company van and fuel card
- Company benefits package
- On-call rota (every6-8 weeks):
- £100 standby payment
- £60 per call-out
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am - 4:30pm
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation including AM2 (practical assessment required)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Full UK driving licence:
- Maximum 5 penalty points
- No driving bans in the last 5 years
- Ability to pass a basic DBS check
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
- Candidates with City & Guilds qualifications pre-2002 will be considered (post-2002 must hold NVQ Level 3)
