About the Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, responsible for assessing residents’ needs, developing and implementing care plans and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
You will lead by example, supporting and supervising care staff, promoting best practice and ensuring excellent outcomes for residents.
Key Responsibilities
Assess residents’ needs and contribute to the development of personalised care plans
Implement and evaluate care programmes to ensure high standards of care
Administer medication in line with policies and procedures
Work independently and deliver care without direct supervision
Supervise, support and guide care staff within the team
Coordinate and delegate tasks to ensure effective service delivery
Promote best practice and maintain a safe, supportive environment
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards
What We’re Looking For
SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Current SSSC registration
PDA in Medication and/or Supervision (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a Senior Care role
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
What’s on Offer
Up to £32,032 per annum (plus overtime opportunities)
£14.00 per hour
Flexible, permanent contracts – 22, 33, or 44 hours per week
