A commitment to undertake mandatory and role-specific training as required, including additional training to meet service changes and developments. A clear insight into the duties and responsibilities of the post, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the role and the impact it has on patient experience and the wider service. Self-motivation and a commitment to provide an efficient, high-quality service in a busy and demanding environment. Reliability and dependability with a consistent approach to attendance, timekeeping and work responsibilities. A flexible and adaptable approach to duties and working practices, responding efficiently and positively to changing service needs. Competent keyboard skills with the ability to complete work accurately and efficiently to maintain a high-quality service. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate politely, clearly and sensitively with patients, visitors and colleagues. An ability to work independently using own initiative and judgement, within established Trust policies, procedures and guidelines.
