Responsibilities
Provide expert advice and guidance on leasehold matters to customers and colleagues.
Manage lease extensions, enfranchisements, and leasehold sales processes efficiently.
Review and analyze lease documents to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
Liaise with legal teams, surveyors, and external stakeholders to resolve leasehold disputes.
Assist in the preparation and management of service charge accounts and budgeting.
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports related to leasehold properties and activities.
Deliver excellent customer service by addressing leasehold inquiries promptly and effectively.
Support the development and improvement of leasehold policies and procedures.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Leasehold Advisor or in a similar leasehold/property management role.
Strong understanding of leasehold legislation and regulations in the UK.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
Attention to detail with strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office applications.
Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving leasehold issues.
Knowledge of service charge accounting and budgeting is highly desirable.
