Responsibilities
Conduct thorough reviews of homelessness cases to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
Assess and evaluate decisions made regarding homelessness applications and appeals.
Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on case reviews.
Liaise with clients, legal representatives, and partner agencies to gather and verify necessary information.
Maintain up-to-date records and case management systems to ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
Provide clear and concise communication regarding review outcomes to all stakeholders involved.
Support continuous improvement by identifying trends and suggesting policy or process enhancements.
Ensure adherence to data protection and confidentiality standards throughout the review process.
Requirements
Proven experience working within homelessness services or a related social services environment.
Strong knowledge of homelessness legislation, policies, and procedures.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills suitable for professional and client-facing interactions.
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
