POST OF: Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with specialist interest in complex elbow and shoulder arthroplasty
A post as a Consultant Orthopaedic shoulder and elbow surgeon is available now at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre.
The appointment is on a substantive basis, applications are welcome from those who wish to job share.

We are currently expanding our Upper Limb team substantively - we have an immediate vacancy for for a consultant orthopaedic shoulder and elbow surgeon.
The appointee will be expected to work flexibly within the Upper Limb team and participate in the multi-disciplinary team in the management of patients with complex orthopaedic problems. They will be expected to participate in the on-call rota.
We are seeking a 1 wte Consultant Shoulder and Elbow Surgeon to join our existing enthusiastic and experienced team of Upper Limb surgeons.
This substantive post for a consultant with a special interest in both shoulder and elbow arthroplasty, has been developed to assist the service with elective recovery and meeting the national RTT targets. We have a specific desire to increase the support of our tertiary and quaternary arthroplasty work, including the management of patients with periprosthetic joint infections, in collaboration with the Bone Infection Unit (BIU) and the newly established elbow arthroplasty network, for which we are a hub-centre. Applicants should be able to demonstrate experience and enthusiasm for these priority areas.
