Summary

Insurance Account Manager
Insurance Account Manager -Yorkshire - £35,000 – £50,000 - Hybrid

The Job:
We are partnering with a well established and growing insurance business to recruit an Account Handler for their Yorkshire office. This is a permanent role with hybrid working available (2 days from home) following successful completion of probation. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional service to a varied client base, supporting with the day to day management of accounts across sectors including commercial and private clients. You will work closely with senior team members to maintain and grow relationships, manage renewals, negotiate quotes, and ensure all compliance and documentation is handled accurately. The role also involves liaising with insurers, supporting claims processes, and contributing to overall business operations.
This opportunity is open to candidates at all stages of their career, from entry-level through to those with prior industry experience.

The Candidate:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with documentation and compliance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous insurance experience (desirable but not essential)
- Experience obtaining quotes, placing business, and negotiating (advantageous)

The Package:
- Salary £35,000 – £50,000 DOE

Candidate Requirements
All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
