Further details about the role
Belvue School is entering an exciting new phase under new, ambitious leadership, following our recent Ofsted inspection. We are building a culture of high expectations, reflection, and continuous improvement, with a clear focus on achieving the very best outcomes for our pupils.
We are seeking a dynamic, proactive, and resilient teacher who is ready to embrace both the rewards and challenges of working with pupils with increasingly complex needs. Our young people have moderate to severe learning difficulties, often with additional needs that require creativity, adaptability, and a deep commitment to personalised learning.
This is a role for someone who wants to make a genuine difference, someone who sees potential where others may see barriers, and who is motivated by the impact they can have every single day.
Belvue School is a vibrant and inclusive secondary special school (Years 7–13) in the London Borough of Ealing. Our diverse community is central to who we are, and we pride ourselves on fostering an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported. With a broad, personalised curriculum and exceptional outdoor and woodland learning spaces, we prepare our pupils for life beyond school.
Commitment to safeguarding
Belvue School is committed to upholding the highest possible safeguarding standards and follows safe recruitment practices to protect children and vulnerable adults. Staff at Belvue School must adhere to statutory guidance, or safeguarding policy, staff code of conduct in order to fulfil these responsibilities. The Successful candidate will be required to apply for an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service. In line with KCSIE 2025 and safer recruitment practices, the school may conduct online searches for shortlisted candidates. Online searches are part of safeguarding checks and will seek publicly available information on candidates’ suitability to work with children.
