Summary
- Support the SENCO in coordinating provision for pupils with SEND.
- Assist with reviewing needs, support plans and documentation.
- Help implement strategies for pupils with SEMH needs.
- Work alongside teachers to ensure effective classroom adaptations.
- Support assessments, interventions and monitoring processes.
- Liaise with families and external professionals when required.
- Promote inclusion and ensure pupils can access learning successfully.
- Must hold QTS, and
- Relevant qualifications and experience supporting SEND.
- Strong understanding of SEMH needs and effective support strategies.
- Able to work collaboratively across teaching and support teams.
- Effective communicator with strong organisational skills.
- Confident in supporting assessments and tracking progress.
- Positive, proactive and committed to improving outcomes for pupils.
- Skilled at building trust and supporting pupils' emotional well-being.
