Summary
The Loading Bay Officer will be responsible for supporting the management team in delivering the smooth and efficient running of the Loading Bay. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills both written and oral, as they will be communicating with the customer and occupiers FM teams on deliveries and contractor attendance at this corporate building.Information:Position: Loading Bay OfficerLocation: London (EC2V)Pay Rate: £15.23 per hourHours: 50 hours per weekShifts: Monday to Friday 0700 to 1700Job Requirements:SIA Licence required.SIA CCTV licence required.Experience as a Loading Bay Officer is required.A working knowledge or an interest in the customer service environment Excellent levels of customer service at all times as well as communication both written & verbalReliable, Responsible and Punctual.To have a smart appearance befitting the company.Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.Be calm & confident under pressure in dealing with confrontational situations in a professional manner.Banksman trained.Must be able to demonstrate a professional and proactive approach towards Security and have an attention to detail and be proactive.Excellent time management & task prioritisation skills.Must have experience in working within a team as well as on your own and have the ability to operate in a pressurised environment. Job Responsibilities:To be responsible for the day to day running of the loading bay and support the deployment of the security team to ensure that a satisfactory security presence is maintained on site.To ensure that all personnel who operate in the loading bay area always adhere to the duties, policies and procedures of the site. Report any breach of these immediately to the Security ManagerTo ensure that all Deliveries and couriers are dealt with efficiently. Ensuring all deliveries are logged onto the buildings cloud-based logging system. To ensure that all contractors are booked in and out effectively and maintain communication with the service teams accordinglyEnsure processes are followed by all building occupiers when requesting access to the loading bay ensuring all deliveries are booked in.
