Summary

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Lincolnshire to assist with the appointment of a Customer Service Advisor, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £12.76 - £16.49 per hour

Hours per Week: 25

Summary:

The Customer Service Advisor (Out of Hours) will act as the first point of contact for emergency and general enquiries across a wide range of council services, including Adult and Children's Social Care, Housing, Libraries, and other local services. This role involves handling sensitive calls from both professionals and members of the public, ensuring accurate information gathering and effective response during out-of-hours periods.

Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for out-of-hours emergency calls relating to Adult and Children's Social Care
Handle enquiries from professionals such as Police and Health Services, as well as members of the public
Gather, assess, and accurately record sensitive information in a timely manner
Respond to calls regarding District Council services, including housing repairs and local services
Provide support for enquiries related to libraries, heritage, and other council services
Deliver high-quality customer service in a fast-paced and sometimes challenging environment
Essentials:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to handle sensitive and potentially distressing situations
Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows
Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and public holidays

You should have right to work in U.K
This role requires an Enhanced DBS
