Summary

IPS is working with a Global Insurer that is building a new Claims team in Leeds to support its London office. The Leeds team will oversee day-to-day claims activity and handle high-volume, lower-value claims within the London market.

The Adjusters will focus on a single line of business but will be cross-trained across others. Initial training will be delivered in London so the Leeds team operates as an extension of the London office. Claims will include a mix of high excess layers, first-party property claims, and a global book, giving exposure to markets such as the US and Asia.

The role involves full case handling, including investigations, quantum assessment and supporting London Adjusters where needed. Caseloads will sit at around 500 claims per Adjuster, covering a variety of matters such as RTAs, marine cargo incidents, renewables, PI, BI, and broader international losses.

Transferable backgrounds are welcome, including claims handlers from insurers or brokers. Candidates will be expected to attend London initially for 3-4 days to meet the team and understand London Market processes, with ongoing ad-hoc visits thereafter.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a growing, client-focused claims team, gain exposure to international markets, and develop within a global insurer.

The role will be predominantly office-based, with 1 day working from home.
