Summary
Location: Stevenage & Hitchin Hours: 30 hrs/week (34 weeks/year) Contract: Permanent Salary: Up to £26,111 FTE (actual £16,160.51) + Pension
Join our Outstanding Supported Studies team and help learners with diverse needs achieve their goals. As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll provide tailored in class and out of class support, help deliver inclusive learning, and promote independence for students with a range of additional needs.
What you’ll do
• Support learners in line with EHCPs and individual targets
• Assist teaching staff and use assistive technology to enhance learning
• Provide 1:1 and small group study skills and pastoral support
• Help with communication, mobility, personal care, and medication where required
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to EHCP reviews
• Support students with work experience placements
• Uphold safeguarding, EDI, and health & safety standards
