Summary
The principal duties of this posts will be to: Lead and Develop the Acute Oncology Service Provide Consultant level support to the Acute Oncology and MUO/CUP services, including SDEC. Provide Consultant input to Acute Oncology service at UHS. Attend Acute Oncology MDTs and Board Rounds Participate in the management of Acute Oncology and MUO/CUP patients Be a member of the CUP/MUO MDT meeting Attend the CUP/MUO MDT meeting Triage patient referrals Arrange or advise on appropriate diagnostic tests in the MUO/CUP setting Plan and supervise chemo/immunotherapy Conduct on treatment review clinics Engage in peer review meetings Participate in the recruitment and running of clinical trials For an overview of the position, please refer to the attached Job Description and Person Specification document.
