Summary
Duties & Responsibilities The Critical Care Echocardiography Fellow will support the delivery of critical care services while developing practical echocardiography capability within the department. The post holder will work closely with intensivists, cardiologists and sonographers, and will contribute to education, audit and quality improvement activity. Main responsibilities Perform and interpret focused and advanced echocardiography in critically ill patients. Support haemodynamic assessment and management using ultrasound-based techniques. Work collaboratively with intensivists, cardiologists, and sonographers. Maintain accurate clinical and procedural documentation. Participate in audit, quality improvement, and teaching activities. Will also have opportunities to practise lung, abdomen, vascular access ultrasound skills and complete logbook towards achieving FUSIC accreditation if interested Please see job description and person specification for full details of the role.
