Summary

Drive meaningful change at the of healthcare logistics. As a Sustainability Lead, you'll be both a strategic leader and a hands-on contributor, responsible for the creation, development, and implementation of the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) roadmap and strategy for Movianto UK.

You will be based in our Tamworth site, withnetwork travel (national applications accepted). You will be working Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) on an annual salary of £30,000.00 per annum.

Purpose of the role

You will use your knowledge and leadership skills to inspire a transformation and the integration of environmentally sustainable practices and tools across all operational and functional areas. Your role will involve managing projects, driving innovation, and building a network of sustainability champions to embed environmental awareness and compliance throughout the business.

How you'll make an impact as a Sustainability Lead at Movianto:

  • Create, develop, and lead the implementation of the ESG roadmap and strategy for Movianto UK, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and industry best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement in our ESG and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives through research, financing, and innovation.
  • Oversee and manage audits for ISO 14001 and waste licensing, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
  • Develop, train, and manage a team of local sustainability champions to improve environmental compliance, increase awareness, and drive a culture of sustainability.
  • Collate and analyse data to measure and report on ESG metrics, and prepare Movianto UK's annual ESG report.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on sustainability for internal teams and external stakeholders, providing updates and guidance on all ESG-related matters.
  • Evaluate suppliers' compliance with ESG standards.
  • Manage, drive, and champion new innovations in sustainability projects.
  • Ensure Movianto strives for the highest standards, such as those set by EcoVadis.


What it will take to thrive as a Sustainability Lead at Movianto:

  • Proven experience in a sustainability, ESG, or CSR-focused role.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of sustainability, ESG, and relevant environmental legislation (e.g., ISO 14001).
  • Experience with data analysis, ESG reporting, and financial modelling for sustainability projects.
  • Familiarity with waste licensing, auditing processes, and environmental management systems.
  • Strong report writing and quality assurance skills.
  • Proficiency in IT and data analysis

  • Demonstrated leadership and project management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to inspire and train others.
  • Proactive and autonomous, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Resourceful, with a passion for driving positive environmental change.
  • A clean driving license, with the ability to travel nationally to Movianto locations as required.
