Summary
We are looking for a dedicated individual who has significant experience in leading a professional information governance team in a multi-client facing service model, who can engage with clients, existing and potential, and with the team to grow the service over the coming years while ensuring that the highest standards are consistently applied. Working with the MIAA Digital Director, the key purpose of this role is to: To lead and develop our team of information governance professionals, ensuing that the team is highly skilled and high performing and is seen as an exemplar of good practice. To continue to grow the service provision across sectors and geographies. To operate at regional and national level as an expert voice, promoting and enhancing the reputation of MIAA as a service provider. Acting as Data Protection Officer to a number of clients. Leading MIAAs own internal information governance agenda. We are looking for individuals with the following experience, skills and competencies: Experience of leading an information governance team in a multi-client facing organisation. Experience of growing information service provision through expanding existing, and acquiring new, contracts. Subject matter expertise in information governance and data protection. Strong leadership and team building skills. Extensive experience of managing significant service delivery budgets across finance and resources. Strong negotiating skills. Commitment to self, team, and service development Respectful of differences in people and valuing diversity of ideas Promotion of equitable practices and contribution to Trust-wide EDI goals. The post-holder will need to have a clean driving license and access to a vehicle, as there is a requirement to travel to clients on a regular basis.
