Summary
The Neurology service is delivered at WHHT by an innovative, forward-thinking team of 12 Consultant Neurologists, supported by 1 Nursing lead, 1 Clinical Nurse Specialists and 2 internal medicine trainees (IMT) from the East of England Deanery. The team treats a wide range of neurological conditions, including seizures and headaches. Most treatment of neurology patients takes place across our three sites Watford General Hospital (WGH), Hemel Hempstead Hospital (HHGH) and St Albans City Hospital (SACH). The department also has a neurophysiology service that provides both inpatient and outpatient care across the WGH and HHGH sites.
