South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLAM) are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Primary mental health care teams in Neighbourhood N3 within the London Borough of Lewisham. This is being advertised as a fixed term post.

If you are looking for an exciting clinical role, within established primary care mental health teams, with opportunities to work closely with Primary care partners and lead on further service development and incorporating quality improvement methodology to evaluate changes, then this is the ideal post for you.

Number of programmed activities for the post -

10 (7.5 DCC and 2.5 SPA)

There is a substantive consultant already in post. You will cover the Primary Care Mental Health Team N3.

The main duties of the consultant are to provide psychiatry consultant leadership and to act as Approved Clinician to the Community Mental Health Team N3, and to support the Team Leader and Clinical Service Lead.
