Summary
Job Title: Remedials Project Engineer
Location: Stourbridge
As the Remedials Project Engineer within our Service Department, you will be assisting with managing a selection of service remedial works on fire protection systems projects based nationally.
Responsibilities
-Liaising with clients, suppliers and Site Managers/Supervisors
-Assisting with the procurement of labour, equipment and fabrication
-Assisting with the cost control of contracts/projects
-Maintaining compliance of projects with issued and approved method statements and risk assessments
-Ensuring all documentation is completed and kept up to date
-Preparing cost estimates, quotations and technical submissions
-Providing technical support and guidance to field engineers and installers
-Managing project documentation including RAMS, permits and completion certificates
-Resolving technical issues and escalating where necessary
Essential Skills
-Experience of commercial sprinkler installations
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
-Understanding of Sprinkler related standards (BS EN12845, LPC Rules & BS9990)
-Strong organisational and time management skills
-Ability to work well using own initiative as well as within a team environment
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Desirable Skills
-CSCS/CCNSG Card
-LPCB Design qualification
