Summary

We're looking for a Management Accountant to join our Birmingham team based in Thimble Mill Lane. You'll play a key role in providing insightful analysis that helps drive business decisions, whilst ensuring strong internal controls and compliance with company procedures.

Location: Thimble Mill Lane, Birmingham - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 per year + £5k annual car allowance + benefits

What will you be responsible for?

As a Management Accountant, you'll be supporting our finance team in delivering timely monthly management accounts and high-quality financial reporting.

Your day to day will include:

-Preparing monthly management accounts through to trial balance for the contract

-Conducting variance analysis of contract results and supporting the senior management team with insights

-Managing cash recovery from clients through monthly applications and handling debt management when required

-Maintaining the accounting system via journal entries and monthly accruals

-Leading on contract audit queries both internally and externally
