Main Responsibilities
Child Development: Support children’s learning and play through engaging activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
Key Person Role: Build strong, trusting relationships with children and provide regular progress updates to parents and carers.
Health & Safety: Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment, ensuring all safeguarding policies are strictly followed.
Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth daily operation of the room.
Observation: Assist in carrying out observations and planning next steps to support each child's individual journey.
Requirements
Qualification: Minimum Level 2 Qualification in Childcare / Early Years (Essential).
Knowledge: A solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff and parents.
Passion: A genuine desire to make a positive impact on children's early lives.
DBS: Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS check (or be willing to undergo one).
