The English Department at Priory is a close knit team, dedicated to supporting each other and our students to enable them to thrive, develop and succeed. The vision in English is to take students on a learning journey through ‘big ideas’ empowering students with the confidence not only to understand the world around them, but also to be active participants. The curriculum endeavours to get students to ‘think bigger’ and think ‘beyond’ the classroom and we are looking for a motivated and inspiring Teacher of English to join our committed team and teach at both KS3 and KS4.

Priory School is a mixed 11-16 School with 1220 students on roll situated in the heart of Southsea. Our pupils come from a very wide range of backgrounds and our community is truly comprehensive, harmonious and dynamic. Priory school is proud to be part of the Bohunt Education Trust.
