TEACHER OF SCIENCE - MPS / UPS
Required For September 2026 start - Permanent Position - ECT applications are welcome
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Science, all disciplines considered, to join ourteam of highly committed scientists.
The successful candidate must have the ability to teach science at Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4. We also have a thrivingA level programme and the ability or ambition to teach at Key Stage 5 is desirable and support is available forcolleagues wishing to develop this area of their practice. Early Careers Teachers are welcome to apply, and we offer afully supported professional development programme, including regular subject specific mentoring and whole schooltraining.
At Wollaston we expect our staff to be committed to ensuring that all students enjoy their lessons and work towardsachieving exceptional outcomes.
The successful candidate will join a strong and popular faculty with high uptake by students at Key Stage 4 and KeyStage 5 in the individual disciplines many of whom choose to pursue science-based courses at university. TheScience Faculty support a love of science through a variety of clubs and trips each year and is comprise of a team ofwell-qualified specialists, with the support of 2 full time and 1 part time technicians. The faculty is housed in apurpose-built science block, with 11 dedicated laboratories. This is an exciting opportunity for any individual whowishes to develop their career in a welcoming, ambitious and supportive school with a dedicated team of teachersand a fantastic cohort of students
